Women of the West Bank

Original Short Documentary

Mainstream media portrays women around the world as victims in headlines of coverage 62% of the time. Women are quoted in articles and interviewed by a ratio of 3:1 (3 men to every 1 woman). The short documentary "Women of the West Bank" follows the experiences of 5 women living and/or working in the West Bank. Strong females working in technology, international law, psychology, government/NGOs, and in advocacy for women empowerment. These are the stories that mainstream media won't portray. And these are the women who are making a difference in their own communities, country, and culture. For more information: www.vidbee.org https://www.j-c-w.org
